Our Story

Glory Tabernacle Church was founded in 1994 by Pastor Clark and Brenda Whittington. The first meetings were held in a side room of what was formerly known as McQueen’s Nursery and Seed Store. As the ministry progressed the property and buildings were purchased that currently houses all the ministry operations of Glory Tabernacle Church.

At Glory Tabernacle Church in Whiteville, NC, our mission is to glorify God by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, nurturing spiritual growth, and equipping believers to serve with love and purpose. We are committed to creating a welcoming community where lives are transformed through worship, prayer, and the power of God’s Word. Our goal is to impact our city and beyond with faith, hope, and the love of Christ.
